With more than 30 years of experience, Jim has helped nonprofits raise millions of dollars through stronger messaging, smarter strategy, and deeper donor connection. He previously served as Vice President of Development for a global $100 million nonprofit and has led successful capital campaigns, major gift efforts, and fundraising initiatives for organizations across the country.
Jim co-founded The Better Fundraising Company to help small- and mid-sized nonprofits raise money and build sustainable fundraising systems that work. He has partnered with charities, schools, churches, and community oranizations throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond, bringing clarity and confidence to their fundraising efforts.
Outside of his work, Jim invests in people in a different way, serving as a high school football coach, where he's passionate about developing young leaders through transformational coaching. He also loves spending time with his family. Jim is married, has three kids, three grandkids, and a dog named Jovi.
