Designed for mid-level professionals, this series focuses on building the essential skills needed to thrive in today’s workplace. Participants will explore strategies for leading dynamic teams, strengthening individual performance, and refining personal and professional effectiveness. Each course targets a critical area of growth—helping you not only survive but truly strive in your career journey.
This eight-week program is designed to build and strengthen essential workplace skills for professionals at every level. Participants will meet once a week for a two-hour, interactive session focused on practical strategies and tools that drive success in today’s workplace.
Topics Include:
- Effective management practices
- Decision-making strategies
- Navigating organizational change
- Motivating and inspiring others
- Building and leading strong teams
- Mastering workplace communication
- Plus, additional skills to enhance professional growth
By the end of the series, participants will leave with a toolkit of leadership and workplace skills they can immediately apply to their careers.
*Light snacks will be provided as well as a framed certificate of completion. Invoicing available. There will be no classes on November 18th and 25th.

About the instructor:
Marty Davis holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from LaGrange College (2009). His graduate coursework included Human Resource Management, Budget and Finance, Organizational Development, Strategy, Conflict Management, Profit & Loss, Policy Evaluation, Strategic Planning, Business Management, and Operations.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Valdosta State University in 1996 and has continued his professional development through multiple certifications. These include Certified Program Planner (C.P.P.) from the LERN Institute (2018), Certificate on Online Learning from Duke University (2020), Quality Matters Certification: Independent Applying the QM Rubric (2017), Salesforce Administrator (Simplilearn), and Designing and Teaching Online Courses (University System of Georgia, 2025).
With an academic foundation in leadership, organizational development, and program planning, Marty brings a strong mix of strategic insight, operational knowledge, and innovative approaches to adult and continuing education.
