A jack-of-all-trades, she later increased her fan base with her tag line “Buckle Up and Be Safe” when working on-air. Her experiences and unique approach to communications has gained her multiple recognitions in the field. She has more than five statewide radio awards and was most recently named one of PRSA Georgia's 40 Under 40 Top Communicators.

(Steve Harvey, Usher, Tom Joyner, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Maxwell, and Morris Chestnut, to name a few.) She has also served as the chosen host for an array of events: fashion shows, step-shows, red carpets, conferences, workshops, and panel discussions.

Following a successful career in radio, Taylor quickly worked her way up as a public relations professional. She's managed award-winning campaigns and implemented effective internal and external strategy at various levels. At the director level, Taylor managed all communications and media relations for more than 38,000 students and 14,000 employees at one of the largest SEC institutions.

Today, she continues to work as a passionate professor and media and communications expert in higher education. She is most passionate about preparing and motivating students for successful careers in the field by challenging them to identify innovative ways to serve as change agents in the field.
