More about this course:

 In this course, participants will learn about the various processes associated with the design and use of illicit drugs. By integrating concepts from various disciplines including biology, chemistry, toxicology, forensics, drug design, drug metabolism, and pharmacology, participants will understand the phenomena associated with drug addiction and its treatment.

 A special module on nicotine and alcohol, two legal drugs, will complete the course. Participants will create a final presentation on a drug-related topic of their choice that can be used in their own classroom. Knowledge acquired throughout the course can be used in science courses but also to help spread awareness among teenagers about the dangers of drug addiction.
