Summer 2024
Join us this summer at UWG for an exciting literary adventure, reading and exploring short stories and poems found in Young Adult literature! Engage in group discussions, sharing about your favorite readings and discovering new perspectives. Inspired by the stories you love, you’ll get to create a unique piece of art that brings your favorite reading to life.
Ages: Rising 6th Graders through 8th Graders. The camp curriculum is designed for youth in middle school. Please register in the name of the child/student attending the camp.
Registration Fee: Camp registration includes expert instruction, rich materials, and hands-on activities.
Location: UWG Carrollton. Facility TBA.
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Campers enrolled in both a morning camp (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) and afternoon camp (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM) should pack a lunch to eat in a classroom during the 12:00 - 1:00 PM Break. If the camper is not staying for an afternoon camp, they should be picked up at 12:00 PM.
Youth Waiver: Upon registration, participant's parent/guardian should complete the online Minors in Sponsored Programs Participant Waiver Form.
