This tutoring program is designed to help students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade master Common Core Georgia Performance Standards for elementary mathematics. Participants complete diagnostic tests to determine their exact instructional needs and then receive instruction tailored to meet those needs. Through the individualized instruction, this course seeks to build the confidence, self-esteem, and the expectation within each child that deeply understanding mathematics is well within his or her reach. Research-based instruction is provided and includes the use of math manipulatives as well as variety of print and electronic resources. Sessions are available on Tuesdays OR Thursdays.
