REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
This course is a total of 88 hours of instruction of which 31 hours of Classroom, 33 hours of Skills Lab, and 24 hours of Clinicals in a local Long-Term Care Facility. Attendance in this class is absolutely critical. You must satisfactorily complete all 88 hours in order to be certified to register for the State CNA Certification Test. Before you register for this course, please review the"Sessions" tab on this page and ensure that you have no known conflicts with any of the class dates. If you do, you should consider registering for another course. If you miss any instruction hours and cannot make them up, your only option will be to transfer to the next CNA course which has an open slot or be given a tuition refund per our Tuition Refund Policy.

If you are currently registered to attend classes at UWG, you must enter your 917 ID number when you register. You can pay your full tuition ($1,185.00) or choose the UWG Student Payment Plan. This payment plan allows you to pay $700.00 at time of registration and the balance of $485.00 must be paid before the first day of class.

If you are not currently registered to attend classes at UWG, you can pay your full tuition ($1,265.00) or choose the Non-UWG Student Payment Plan. This payment plan allows you to pay $765.00 at time of registration and the balance of $500.00 must be paid before the first day of class.

This is a non-credit course offered through Continue West and Financial Aid does not typically cover the registration fee. If you have questions concerning whether your Financial Aid will pay, please contact your advisor.

The registration fee covers course instruction, textbook, supplies, clinicals, set of scrubs, blood pressure cuff, and name badge. Students are personally responsible for the out-of-pocket cost of their Advantage Students Background/Drug Check (approximately $99.95), a Professional Liability Insurance Policy (approximately $43.00), and the Certification Test Fee (Written Examination Only - $35.00; Skills Examination Only - $95.00; Written and Skills - $130.00.)

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Once you register for this course you will receive an email registration confirmation. There will be documents attached to your confirmation that contain important information regarding course requirements mandated by the State of Georgia. All Course Requirements must be completed before the first day of class. Copies of documents that verify that you have completed all of these requirements can be emailed to dfleming@westga.edu or given to the CNA Instructor on the first day of class. If you fail to address these requirements, you could be subject to being dropped from the course. Upon completion of this course, those students successfully meeting all requirements will be able to register to take the State CNA Certification test through Credentia 365 and select a Test Date and Test Site of your choice.
