Camp attendees will learn alongside faculty and staff experts to develop life skills and explore hands-on activities related to Science, Arts & Culture, and Computing & Entrepreneurship.
Program: Music West - Instrumental: Calling all low brass players! Have fun while improving your tone, articulation, flexibility, and scale knowledge. The UWG Low Brass Camp is intended for high school trombone, euphonium, and tuba players only. Morning sessions will focus on the fundamental aspects of the instrument, from stretching and breathing to the basic areas of tone production/embouchure development, flexibilities/lipslurs, articulation/tonguing, and technical knowledge via scales and arpeggios. Afternoon sessions will focus on music, from solo playing and masterclass opportunities to ensemble rehearsals and performances.
