IMPORTANT NOTES:
IF YOU ARE A REGISTERED UWG STUDENT, AND ENTER YOUR 917 NUMBER AT TIME OF REGISTRATION, YOU CAN CHOOSE THE UWG CNA PAYMENT PLAN OPTION. YOU CAN PAY $385.00 AT TIME OF REGISTRATION AND THE BALANCE MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS, AUGUST 1ST.

IF YOU ARE NOT A REGISTERED UWG STUDENT YOU CAN CHOOSE THE NON-UWG CNA PAYMENT PLAN OPTION. YOU MUST PAY $445 AT TIME OF REGISTRATION AND THE BALANCE MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS, AUGUST 1ST.

CNA classroom/lab training will be conducted on Mondays and Wednesdays, August 1st through September 26th in the Murphy Building Room 222 - 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. We will not have class on Monday, September 5th due to the Labor Day Holiday.

Clinical sessions will be conducted on Saturdays, October 8th, 15th and 22nd. For classes with more than 11 students, it will be necessary to schedule both morning (6:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.) and evening (2:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.) clinical sessions. We will split the class equally between the morning and evening clinical schedules. We will try to take into consideration each person's needs in developing the clinical schedules. If we reach an impasse, we will use the date a person registered for the course to determine who will attend which session.

Certification test dates for this class have not yet been established. Test dates will most likely be scheduled during the week of November 14th. Firm dates and test times will be negotiated with the NACES test administrator and you will be given as much advance notification as possible.

When you receive your registration confirmation, there should be three (3) attachments containing important information regarding the CNA course. Please be sure you open and read all attachments carefully. You must address the issues of your background/drug check and PPD (TB) test results before the first day of class.
